Nunavut Arctic College Media

Nunavut Arctic College Media is a division of the Language and Culture Program and the Inuit Language and Culture Centre of Excellence at Nunavut Arctic College. As the first scholarly press in Canada’s territories we publish books, learning materials, and media products to enhance understanding of Inuit culture, history, and language. We publish in English, Inuktitut dialects, Inuinnaqtun, and French and our goal is to assist in the development and preservation of Inuit languages and dialects, to increase awareness of Canada’s Arctic, and to foreground Inuit perspectives through print, audio, video, oral history, and archival initiatives.

NAC Media serves students and instructors at our five campuses and twenty-five community learning centres spread across the territory. We strive to serve all Nunavummiut as well as those with an interest in learning more about the Canadian Eastern Arctic.
